The Chain O' Lakes is the second most populated intercostal water way in the United States. Located 45 miles north of Chicago. The Thirsty Turtle sits on 6 acres of lake front property, which truly makes it unique. With the 'Biggest Beach' on the Chain, The Thirsty Turtle has a beach bar located right on the waters edge, two professional volleyball courts and a play area for the little ones. With our fun upbeat environment and a bunch of daily drink and food specials, as well as entertainment, pool, volleyball and bag leagues. The Thirsty Turtle offers a full kitchen with a family friendly atmosphere and specialize in smoked meats and gourmet burgers. All of our meats are smoked for 14 hours in Hickory Wood and our Angus burgers are made fresh daily from only the best ingredients. Come build your own burger or try one of our many 'Signature Sandwiches' on our beautiful deck over looking Channel Lake. We also offer a Door County Fish Boil, every Friday night.
